Education
Sophomore, Kurt Hahn expeditionary learning school, Brooklyn September 2023 — Present
At the Kurt Hahn School, it is their mission to challenge, engage, and empower young people so that they become informed, skilled, and courageous leaders. Kurt Hahn is an NYC Outward Bound School and a member of the NY Performance Standards Consortium. At KH, they prepare students for college, citizenship, and the workplace by bringing to life the principles of Outward Bound: that combining intensive challenge with guided support leads to students achieving far more than we ever thought possible. Kurt Hahn uses hands-on learning that has real-world application to ignite a joy for learning and discovery in us students. At our school, leadership, active citizenship, and character development go hand-in-hand with academic rigor and challenge. We are part of the Career Readiness and Modern Youth Apprenticeship (CRMYA) pilot, which helps us support career readiness for all our students. We have courses that help our ninth and tenth graders explore their career interests and develop readiness skills. Our Details
