Objective

I have been with sprouts for the past 4 and a half years. My job as a full-time Head cashier is me having the ability to handle the register, cashiers and their accountability within the job, as well as handling money within the safe, registers, and counting tills at the end of the night. At the start of shift, I'm always responsible for verifying money in the manager's drawer as well as my ability to audit cashiers for the overage and amount under the proper amounts in their registers. Also, Taking two sweeps per day from each register, which is basically when the register has more than $200 in it and me as a head cashier (supervisor of the front end) takes it in order to make sure the Garda has the proper amount of money in the machine on the night of closing. My job as a head cashier has taught me what it means to be responsible as a supervisor in making sure my front end runs smoothly. Making sure breaks and lunches are accounted for by cashiers, courtesy-clerks, and myself.

Making sure management is run smoothly with no given issues involving store coordinators being able to manage the front-end without additional supervision as that was my position at Tjmaxx.

San Diego Unified School District/ Sweetwater Union High School District As a Substitute Teacher, I am working with kids between the ages of Kinder-12th grade. I have gotten plenty of experience working in education as I work mainly with special needs in elementary schools. I have plenty of knowledge with special needs and have had the pleasure of working with middle school and high school students as well. My goal in Education is to primarily work with students in schools after my Masters program to continue working with students by becoming a Counselor and or school Guidance Counselor who works with students and their academic life as well as future life in college.
