Spent 10 days in Hawaii to assist Veterans with PTSD and teach sunrise yoga at a retreat. Helped retreat participants work through difficult mental health experiences during the retreat utilizing breathwork and motivating them to attend activities on the trip. It was nothing less than an honor to have men of such stature thank me into a microphone for helping and making yoga fun for them as well as accessible to their unique needs. There were some mornings where they would be waiting for me at sunrise and it was one of the most beautiful experiences of this life.

Assisted in designing fundraisers to reach goals as a nonprofit that provides holistic healing and alternative therapies to children with cancer. Spent half the time living on a farm assisting the Director in caring for the farm animals for children to come experience as well as supporting her family in their loss of their daughter Lucy who started this charity herself when she had cancer as a child, while spending the other half of the time in the office in Amesbury, MA helping to run programs for families in need of support while also working as a Neurofeedback Technician

EDUCATION

Cacao Vida, - Plant Medicine San Gerardo, Costa Rica

January & February 2023

Spent 2 months deep in the jungle of Costa Rica in the town of San Gerardo without cellphone service or wifi to work on a farm and learn the ancient traditions of locals. Mornings preparing flowers, herbs, and fruits to create tea orders. Preparing cacao for beans, nibs, powders, butters, chocolate pieces, and chocolate bars. Long days of hard work harvesting ingredients and creating orders, sometimes even climbing a tree or two. Learning to speak Spanish by integrating into the local community and medicinal uses for jungle plants. Assisted retreats for travelers in the Air Bnb on the property.

Psychology career path with the intent to complete a Psychology degree with plans to go forward into psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for treatment resistant patients, mainly focused on the current work on MAPS and their research with MDMA therapy with PTSD.
