Multicultural Experience

Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience working in diverse cultural and economic environments. Growing up in a multicultural household in Canada, with a Spanish father and a Filipino mother, I developed a deep appreciation for cultural diversity from an early age.

Professionally, I have worked with a variety of cultural groups across different locations and economic backgrounds. In Toronto, Canada, I served a predominantly Filipino community at Living Hope. My journey then took me to Philadelphia, PA, where I provided counseling services primarily to African American clients. Following this, I moved to Los Angeles, where I engaged with a predominantly Latino clientele, and later worked in Orange County with a predominantly Caucasian population.

In addition to working with diverse cultural groups, I have also interacted with individuals across a broad spectrum of economic backgrounds, ranging from affluent to lower- income and middle class. This has provided me with valuable insights into the unique challenges faced by people from various economic situations.

Now back in Canada, I am seeking new opportunities to apply my multicultural and economic background. These experiences have reinforced my commitment to treating all individuals with equal dignity, regardless of their race, background, culture, gender, sexuality, or economic status.

• Strategic Planning: Expertise in developing and executing plans that align with organizational goals. Capable of assessing needs, identifying opportunities, and implementing effective solutions to achieve desired outcomes.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships. Employ emotional intelligence and active listening to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

• Visionary Thinking: Driven by a clear vision to see teams and individuals achieve their full potential. Proactive in seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement, and adept at inspiring and motivating others.

Leadership Style:

My leadership style is an amalgamation of analytical rigor and collaborative management. I emphasize thorough analysis and research to make well-informed decisions while fostering a culture of teamwork and creativity. I prioritize the development of team members by delegating responsibilities based on their strengths, encouraging innovative thinking, and creating a supportive environment for growth. My approach ensures that strategies are well-planned and adaptable to changing circumstances, promoting a sense of stability and flexibility within the team.

Jung Typology Test Result:

• ENFP (Extraverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Perceiving): My extroversion facilitates strong connections and engagement with team members, while my intuition drives creativity and visionary thinking. My feeling orientation enables me to prioritize empathy and emotional well-being, fostering a supportive work environment. As a perceiving type, I remain adaptable and open to new experiences, allowing me to respond effectively to dynamic situations and encourage innovative solutions.
