RE: REQUEST FOR CLINICAL PLACEMENT and MENTORSHIP
I am writing to formally introduce our student; Ngobi Yoweri
(Registration number - U/240100229/ODU) who is requesting to undertake his clinical placement at your esteemed medical imaging facility.
Ngobi Yoweri is a student enrolled in the Ordinary Diploma in Ultrasound program. ECUREI has various medical imaging courses, including BSc Diagnostic Ultrasound, Diploma in Medical Radiography, Ordinary Diploma in Ultrasound, and BSc Medical Imaging. This student has acquired a robust theoretical foundation in diverse areas such as abdominal, pelvic and obstetric Ultrasound. He now requires hands-on sessions to solidify his practical skills.
The practicum is scheduled to commence on 26th August 2024 and conclude on 30th December 2024. While at your facility, the student is expected to actively participate in all institutional and departmental activities as directed and strictly adhere to your rules and regulations. He will maintain a record of his daily activities and diagnoses in a logbook, which must be signed by the supervising radiographer or radiologist. Additionally, field supervisors from ECUREI may visit the practicum site at least twice a month to monitor the progress of the student.
