• POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION

Responsible for managing >50MW of electrical power supply via 6 dual fuel turbines at 11kV; HV (33kV, 11kV, 6.6kV) & LV

switchgears, transformers and cables, RMUs, breakers, contactors, DBs; and the operation/maintenance of this system to obtain 95%

availability and 100% reliability to sustain production at Southbank flow station, Crude Loading Platform and Forcados Terminal (FOT).

• DIESEL & GAS TURBINE OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE

Delivered top-quartile availability of dual-fuel gas turbines (SOLAR Turbines) through safe operations and maintenance on various sub-

systems – Turbotronic II & Turbotronic IV control systems, Lube Oil systems, Electrohydraulic & VFD start systems, and enclosure Fire

& Gas systems.

• LOAD MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (BRUSH)

Safely operated and maintained the BRUSH PRISMIC Load Management System and managed the interphase between it and other units

such as the Solar Turbine Unit Control Panels, Relay Panels and Motor Control Centers & UPS Supply Units to ensure proper load

sequencing and prioritization and deliver smooth power operations in complex high voltage power generation and distribution systems.

• AUTHORISED ELECTRICAL PERSON+

Certified competent to safely execute and lead execution of complex activities as defined in the Shell Electrical Safety Rules (ESR) and

Electrical Safety Operating Procedures (ESOP) e.g. isolation & de-isolation of LV generators, application and removal of Circuit Main

Earth, isolation/de-isolation of HV motors, and issuance and cancellation of selected electrical certificates.

• ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS PMs & CMs

Responsible for the execution of preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance tasks on lighting and emergency lighting circuits,

black start diesel generators, accommodation emergency generators, ‘Ex’ equipment in core zones including DBs, HV & LV motors and

pump houses terminal boxes and RCUs; earthing and bonding circuits, HV transformers and LV switch gears.

Responsible for facilitating pre-work inspections to identify potential hazards, leading JHA development, preparation of isolation

certificates on e-vision, including excavation permits and confined space permits; and facilitation of authorization for permits on the e-

vision and the preparation of suitable work packs for PM & CM execution using maintenance job routines.

• SWITCHGEAR & PROTECTION RELAY STATUTORY MAINTENANCE CHECKS

Worked with statutorily-certified vendors to carry out the 3-yearly calibration checks of high voltage & low voltage protection relays for

functionality, sensitivity and accuracy; and mechanical and electrical functionality checks of breakers and fused contractors in feeders.

Responsible for the maintenance of RMUs, transformers, underground high voltage cables, distribution boards, feeder pillars and risers in

Ogulagha & Odimodi to ensure 100% availability and reliability of FOT-supplied power to the host communities.

Responsible for availability and reliability of electrical equipment systems in FOT gas plant including 3 different fuel gas heater trains and

their corresponding heater panels (primary and secondary).
