Qualifications
I am a qualified construction cost estimator having performed estimates in all 50 divisions on projects for James R. Tucker, Inc. Construction Consultants and other companies. James R. Tucker was the former owner and C.E.O. of Frank J. Rooney and later Centex–Rooney and was the largest General Contractor in the Southeast United States. Estimates I have performed include civic centers, condominiums, residential apartment buildings, private residences, shopping malls, federal government facilities and other projects. Further, I have performed hundreds of estimates for the School Board of Broward County, Florida both with James R. Tucker, Inc. and with CMS-Construction Management Services, Inc. I have also specialized in working on requests for equitable adjustments from General Contractors. I have extensive experience in the evaluation of errors and omissions of design professionals on various projects. I am qualified to perform both value engineering and studies on claims and requests for change orders from contractors and subcontractors. I also have done extensive research and litigation preparation for cases that went to trial. I also have extensive experience in closing out projects and working with owners to complete projects on time and to obtain certificates of occupancy.
