Working as Sr. Site Engineer (CIVIL) for Navayuga Engineering Co WLL, Doha, Qatar from January 2018 to till date.
Worked as Jr. Site Engineer (CIVIL) for Vasishta Projects Ltd, HYD, INDIA from May 2017 to January 2018.
Job Responsibilities:
Managing the construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and in compliance with regulations and quality standards
Dealing with wet utilities like Storm water, Foul sewer, Chilled water, Solid waste, Potable water, Irrigation, involving pipe line and manhole/chamber
Overseeing the installation, Testing & commissioning, and maintenance of Utilities as well as pump stations.
Checking the performance of the pumps, Identify and troubleshoot system issues, Providing technical support and training to team members
Setting out the pressure, flow set points and parameters on PLC as per the specifications, Verifying with the HMI screen graphics
Performing the regular inspections to ensure that systems are functioning optimally, checking all the test procedures and manage any necessary repairs or adjustments
Following the sequence of operation and demonstrating all the equipments according to the p&id
Dealing with dry utilities like MV, LV, Street light, ELV, CCTV etc.
Following the project HSE plan for the safety of the personal’s equipment
Setting out the work in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications and layout
Preparing and submit Daily Progress Report, Monthly progress report, Daily Manpower Report and reporting to the authorities
Planning the work schedule and efficiently organizing the site in order to meet the dealines
Ensuring the work scheduled is being adhered and reporting any possible delays to superiors, finding adequate solutions to ensure any lost time is made up without affecting the overall project schedule
Quantifying the quantities of works from excavation to finishing works, bar bending schedule etc.
Managing project resources, including materials, equipment and labor to ensure optimal utilization and cost effectiveness
Ensuring all relevant drawings and method statements are of the latest issue and accessible at the point of use
Checking the drawings clash free with other utilities before proceeding the work and if any clashes, coordinating with the design team and rectifying them
Responsible for individual activities from raising of IR to getting the approvals for billing purpose
Attending the Inspections with Client / Consultant representatives
Liaising with consultants and clients regarding the approval of work done
Maintaining good coordination with QC & QS departments regarding site activities and quality work
Assisting the project manager in checking and certifying the various contractor’s bills
Ensuring all materials are using and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
Coordinating with procurement team and raising material indents as per the work schedule
Monitoring the site activities, Leading and directing the performance of all site foremen, man force and resolving unexpected technical difficulties, advising recommendations or alternative solutions to the problems
Discussing the technical problems and execution difficulties with the project manager
Supervising all on site including subcontractors work, resolve day to day problems and inspect the work during construction to ensure job is compliance with the plans and project specifications
Attending the weekly work progress meetings
Liaising with construction manager and project planner regarding schedule issues and status of activities
Providing regular progress reports and elevate issues to the authorities
Coordinating with the survey team for setting out the site and approval of work done
