At Fortress Floors i learned a lot of different skills that benefited me for the long run, i learned a lot about concrete, how to deal with customers and buyers, working hard in different elements, problem solving, coming together and working as a team, and getting the job done in a safe and fun environment. I worked with a lot of different hand tools big grinder machines . At every job site i had think on how i could get the job done to satisfy the customer as well as making management proud in my work to excel. My company would also sell chemicals to other buyers trying to start their own flooring establishment. Along with that they would come up to sheboygan so we could train them with the most experience and knowledge we had on the job so i was meeting people from all around the country. spending days with my team working hard. at Fortress floors i was taught how to use a forklift to help out my boss at the shop/ warehouse taking pallets off of high shelf's preparing orders too get shipped out all over the country so i would count that as working in receiving and shipping.
