PROFESSIONAL EXPERIECE
AIRCRAFT MECHAIC/SUPERVISOR U.S. MARINE CORPS AEROJET ROCKETDYNE
Responsibilities include conducting non-destructive testing of metal in aircraft structures and aircraft engine components, Certified under Mil Std 410 as a level II non-destructive inspector which includes: ultrasonic, eddy currents, magnetic particles, fluorescence and dye penetrant inspections, and x-rays, Performed all non-destructive inspections on aircraft and components, processed exposed x-ray film for viewing. As Quality Assurance Inspector was required to inspect all in process work and completed work. Performed technical inspections using such equipment as micrometers, compartors, scales, and gauges as needed.
Supervised and up 17 personnel. Experience in first and second degree maintenance of aircraft structures on rotor and fixed wing aircraft and corrosion control, Planned, scheduled and directed job assignments. I am capable of reading schematic diagrams, Sketches, blueprints and interrupting layout instruction. Responsibilities include being in charge of requisitioning supplies and equipment as needed, held educational classes to junior personnel to upgrade knowledge of aircraft maintenance.
