SHILOH MIDDLE SCHOOL - Stone Mountain, GA July 2023 - May 2024 I taught Physical Science for Shiloh Middle School for one year. I Aimed to instill high standards of discipline, knowledge, and critical thinking in my middle school students. I taught about 115 students daily. I planned lessons and successfully managed the classroom. I coordinated lesson plans and curriculum for Physical Science 8th grade students. I had the children engaged in lesson supported labs that always proved successful. I completed the “New Teacher’s Mentor Program” that proved to be productive and fruitful.in the classroom. I am an Enthusiastic and pleasant teacher with a personal interest in teaching new perspectives to students of diverse age groups and encouraging their personal development.

CONTRACT WORK: January 2020 - May 2023

Employers: Gwinnett County Public Schools - Substitute Teacher - Aided teachers in all grade levels, kindergarten through high-school. I covered their absences for vacations, sicknesses, and bereavements. Valentine Enterprises - Q.C. Tech, I handled all samples, collected, prepped and tested in-house or sent them out to other facilities. Also, inspected production lines every hour. Thermogenics Corp. - Lab Assistant, Assisted in the development of brachytherapy seeds for the treatment of localized prostate cancer: (Microscopic work), House of Cheatham - Chemist, Updated and created safety manuals for all chemicals in the facility. (converted MSDS to SDS) General Mills - Chemist, ran test utilizing the HPLC, testing for sugar, moisture, salt, Ca, Vitamin C, and PH.

CHEMIST II

EXIDE - Milton. GA July 2012 - October 2019

Maintained working knowledge and utilization of a broad range of instrumentation: BET, ICP, LECO, SEM, and XRD. This position also required experience in Wet Chemistry that included PBO’s AMAD’s, Expanders, Oil and Grease testing. I was responsible for updating, maintaining, and ordering all chemicals in the lab. I documented all testing into my assigned log books, generated reports, entered data, stored files and distributed all results. My computer skills included MS Office, Power Point, Excel, Google Chrome. I also trained all temps and new Lab Technicians. Exide was a GMP facility. EDUCATION - Wiley College - Bachelor’s of Science in Biology / Minor - Chemistry
