HSE ENGINEER - ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of Method Statement & Risk Assessment, Inspection Test Plan (ITP), Checklist, and Material Submittal as per HSE Plan and Project Specification and submission.

Carrying out site surveillance inspection and safety walkabout to check whether work is complying with project specification, government, client & consultant safety requirements, and HSE Plan.

Review the site safety requirements follow up with the management for workplace safety arrangements and support the project team on the technical safety requirements.

Raising NCR (Non-Conformity Report) for poor quality works and safety defects and the works that do not comply with the project specification, authority safety requirements, HSE Plan.

Preparing and maintaining logs for Daily Reports, Calibration Certificates, Safety Documentation, and all other documents related to the project.

Conducting Safety Toolbox Talk with workers periodically to avoid any poor workmanship, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions that could affect the quality of work and result in workplace incidents.

Daily Site Inspection, safety walkabouts, and surveillance of the work completed to avoid any quality issues and risks in the workplace. Review work procedures, method statements, risk assessments, HSE Plan, standard operating procedures, project closing out dossier document submission for client specification.

Attending daily progress meetings, site safety review meetings and competently communicating with consultants and clients preparing materials and manpower for shutdown jobs and reviewing the site safety requirements.

Provide induction training to the site team and arrange necessary safety training for the workforce on the site. Arrange emergency response drills and other safety events at the site.

Investigate all the reported incidents in the blame-free atmosphere identify root causes and propose corrective actions to prevent reoccurrences.

Provide corrective action and closeout reports to the Quality and Safety audit by the consultant, client, and government bodies.

Verifying and ensuring that all equipment has been tested by third parties as required and all operators have the proper certifications.

Meticulously implementing the company's safety policy to minimize safety risks and prevent losses on account of accidents.

Investigating all accidents, incidents, and dangerous occurrences to find the remedial actions & determine the root cause and develop corrective actions.

Comprehensive knowledge of HSE Management Systems, Regulatory Compliance, Contractor Safety Management, Safety & Environmental Risk Management, and Emergency Response.

Make People-focused with strong leadership, professional development, and communication skills.

Preparing statically reports (KPI) for leading indicators, and lagging indicators.
