Maintain effective and proper relations with suppliers or their representatives.

Place orders and determine requirements from engineering and production schedules.

Monitor the movement of materials through the production cycle and maintain inventory at planned levels.

Regularly update safety stock levels, order minimums, and order multiples in the system.

Keep the Purchasing team aware about changes in the delays that would affect the lead time to keep the system current.

Volunteer & Humanitarian work

Mission trip to Uganda, Africa. (Built housing, brought food and supplies, and went out to do hut to hut evangelism, played soccer with the people.)

Mission trip to Juarez, Mexico. (Built a church for a local preacher, brought food and supplies, spent time having fun with kids at the Orphanages, played soccer with the locals.)

Mission trip to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. (Brought food and supplies, and spent lots of time at the Orphanage having fun with the kids, played soccer with the kids and taught them about the Bible.)

Volunteered on a Kibbutz in Hazorea, Israel. I spent 6 months living in Israel while I volunteered on a Kibbutz. It’s a communal settlement with a population of around 900 people. We all worked together, ate together, and lived on the Kibbutz. We had a farm, sold dairy products and also had a rubber factory. I worked on the Garden crew during my time there and maintained the grounds. On the weekends I spent my time traveling Israel.
