ICU Medical (Formerly Smiths Medical), Southington, CT Setup Technician (March 2000 - March 2022)

● Responsible for all set up, changeovers, and documentation for high speed assembly equipment. Responsible for calibration, inspection, and PM’s for machinery in assigned area.

● Inspected and calibrated sensors at the beginning of every run and as needed.

● Compounded, dried, and inspected materials for production. Performed maintenance on all machines in assigned areas to ensure all machines are in running order.

● Responsible for reporting all non-conforming materials and finished goods as well as filling out hold paperwork in accordance with QA procedures. Worked in injection molding and learned how to clean/repair tooling. Responsible for extruders as well.

● Part of team that went to build a high speed assembly machine at A.G. Russel Material Handler (February 1991 - March 2000)

● Mixed chemicals for assembly as required.

● Filled out all non-conformance, hold, and rejection paperwork for non-conforming materials.

● Responsible for set up, changeovers, and documentation for molding equipment. Inspected all tooling for machines in assigned area to ensure product would meet required specifications.
