AFRIGO: On Thursday, January 26, 2023, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) launched a domestic card scheme developed in partnership with the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System Plc (NIBSS). The card, AfriGo, is the first of its kind in Africa and joins RuPay, UnionPay, Elo card scheme, and JCB card schemes as some card schemes launched by national governments.
In 2024, I tested the new card technology on its connection, functionality and performance.
Coordinated with other testers to ensure Quality was prioritized and ensured.
Identify defects and suggested possible solutions.
Performed unit, integrated, and rivo test.
