DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CONSULTANT:
• Review all Electrical & ELV drawings of complete project.
• Review all Electrical & ELV Materials Submittal of Complete Project.
• Review Pre-qualification of Electrical Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Co-ordination with Authorities to get Tender drawings approval for Project.
• Co-ordination with Electrical contractors and Sub contractors to get final approval from authorities.
• Co-ordination of Electrical Systems with Civil, Mechanical and other services during execution of work.
• Interacting with client and contractor staff to determine and verify project requirements.
• Ensure all Electrical works performed according with the specification and Approved shop drawings.
• Manage supervision & Inspection of complete Electrical Work.
• Responsible for complete site daily reports and progress.
• Study and analyze the project specifications and contract drawings.
• Attending to Work inspection Request (IR's), Material inspection Request (MIR) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
• Managing work as compliance with the project specifications and contract drawings as per client approval.
• Obtaining approval for materials and prepared shop drawings from client.
• Attending regular meetings with client/contractor to provide update on progress of the project.
• Raising site observation reports (SOR), nonconformance reports (NCR), quality observation report (QOR), Sending letters for the works carried out by contractor found not to be as per approved drawing and specifications.
• Monitor and ensure all the activities done as per the approved shop drawings and method statements within the schedule.
• Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with specifications, contractual documents, safety, and health risk assessments.
• Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available when required.
• Liaising with the project supervision team, client engineers and provide technical input and experiences to resolve any issues of concern that may arise on site.
• Witnessing in testing and commissioning of all the systems in line with the project requirements
• Review the as built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals and follow up the snagging and DLP period work on completion of projects.
• Ensure the Electrical installation works comply with ADDC, AADC and DEWA codes. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CONTRACTOR:
• Study and analyze the project specifications and contract drawings.
• Preparing the shop drawing in compliance with the project specifications and contract drawings.
• Obtaining approval for materials and prepared shop drawings from consultant/client.
• Preparation of Method Statement and get the approval for the same from consultant/client.
• Liaising with the contractor, consultant and client, Organize, schedule and execute the installation works to meet the project completion goals.
• Raising the indent for required materials, tools, etc., ensure the quality of the received materials and coordinate with concerned departments.
• Raise the inspection request for the received materials to consultant, coordinate the inspection & obtain the approval.
• Provide proper instructions and technical support to Site Engineers and Supervisors.
• Monitor and ensure all the activities done as per the approved shop drawings and method statements within the schedule.
• Installation, Testing & Commissioning of LV Panels and LV Switchgears, SMDBs, DBs, Earthing and Lighting Control, Telephone and Structured Cabling Systems.
• Supervision of LV cable installation and ensure proper termination of cables at both ends.
• Coordinate with material suppliers and subcontractors.
• Raise the inspection request for the completed activities to consultant, coordinate the inspection and obtain approval.
• Co-ordination of Electrical Systems with Civil, Mechanical and other services during execution of work.
• Preparation of Contractor bills in stages.
• Preparation of Variations and obtaining approval.
• Ensure the Electrical LV installation works comply with ADDC AND AADC codes and obtain the final approval from ADDC AND AADC.
• Monitoring the progress of the project and analyze the solution for the delays.
• Attend the periodic technical meetings and site coordination meetings.
