To whom it may concern,
Hotel General Manager Days Inn Baltimore is a great fit with my experience.
Guest expect a clean and friendly environment. This is credo I always go by. First impression counts along with friendly professional respect to ensure that guest have a great stay and will come back.
I have managed different aspects of lodging environments and hospitality services arenas. For the past ten years I have been the Managing Partner operating programs, meals and housing for recovering addicts. My management career has always been in customer service both in the corporate and nonprofit arenas. One of the businesses we operated was Nags Head Fishing Pier and Motel. My experience in F&B included fast food counter service, seated dining, full bar service, catering and running events while overseeing BOH, FOH and other departments that came together to efficiently and equitably ensure all guests were satisfied. I made sure the team of up to two hundred were knowledgeable of all their duties and details that gave guests a great experience.
Most importantly I am aware of great customer service and what it takes to satisfy residents and take care of coworkers. The residents of Brightview expect a clean environment with professional and friendly staff. They want activities and quality meal services in a home-like setting. My event experience includes all holiday events, day to day activities keeping guests and house members engaged in life, My profit margins met or exceeded projections in all areas. The knowledge of Microsoft programs, P&L’s, and other accounting reports allowed me to keep track of all operations and make corrections as needed.
Integrity stands out as one of my identifying traits. Everything I say and do today has always reflected in my actions going forward. I have been told by others they can trust my words and actions, which is important to me. If a person has genuine integrity, then all the other values will follow at the same level.
Manuals and training programs developed by me helped to ensure co-workers were equipped to manage their jobs and that each person felt they were a valuable member of the team in both front and back of house. Mentoring and improving the skill of those around you increase the capabilities of everyone. By showing coworkers that I know how to handle the duties of each team member will develop a good report, everyone will know I will be able to step in and assist when needed.
Believing in cohesive rapport between corporate departments and fellow management will ensure a smooth working environment leading to customer satisfaction and profitable bottom line. Clear communications with high demanding and discerning customers and coworkers has been easy for me, making for efficient fulfillment of my duties.
I look forward to meeting those involved and interviewing for the position at the earliest time.
Sincerely,
Fred Rigger
