● Sonic was my first job my freshman year of highschool. Being a freshman in high-school was important, I was allowed to break out of my shell as someone extroverted and communicative at this job.

● I quickly became an important member of the team, I was promoted to shift leader in roughly two months. As shift leader, I had many responsibilities and worked long, nightly hours.

● This job taught me what it means to be clean. Food safety isn’t something you think about until you’re working in the environment yourself. I acquired skills that I could use anywhere and I realized how much I enjoy doing it.

Chick-Fil-A, Paramus Park, NJ- Team Member

● I moved to NJ roughly two years ago, resulting in me leaving my job at Sonic. Chick-Fil-A offered me a part-time job that allowed me to prioritize my education and other outside responsibilities.

● This job taught me the ability to effectively multi-task while under copious amounts of stress. Honestly at times, this job was very stressful for me. We were constantly in rushes and handling unexpected situations. Looking back, the skills I retained are essential to everyday life and I’m appreciative of that.

● I wasn’t getting many hours at Chick-Fil-A and found an opportunity at Dunkin’ Donuts. This was my most recent job and to me, I gained the most valuable skill here.

● This job taught me what it means to connect with people and how small acts of kindness go way farther than one may think. I built many important relationships here with people I would’ve never guessed to connect with.
