• I traveled the United States as a blues musician making friends with Muddy Water’s son Joseph Morganfield. While learning blues music, I managed to get excellent grades while finding a creative way to pay for books doing shows all around the United States. As a cultural and physical anthropologist, one could consider this an internship and work experience. Not too many students can be submerged in culture as I did. Academic Projects

• I was a group leader while training to be an EMT. We were tasked with escorting patients, CPR, bandaging wounds, and a dozen other issues related to the medical field. This is an important skill as an anthropologist in Arizona. We encounter dangerous terrain where medical training is a necessity. Skills
