Answered incoming calls, Worked Referral bucket, Scheduled patients for office visits, tests and sleep studies, Uploaded Echo reports from PACS system for Grand Junctions Clinic, GRHD, FHW, Rangely, Meeker, and Craig Clinics in Athena EHR, Scanned EKG’s into Athena and into QHN, Initiated prior authorizations for all tests including Echo’s, Stress Tests, Etc., Uploaded Stress Test paperwork into Athena for the provider to dictate, Collected copays, Deductibles, Co-Ins and would take deposits to the bank.

November 2011-March 2017 HVC at Valley View Hospital Office Assistant • I worked a 40-hour work week. Pulled off all incoming faxes off of fax machine, filed paper charts, filed paperwork into charts, copied medical records and either faxed or mailed depending on size of chart, Used Fed Ex to send records in urgent cases where we need to get records sent overnight, pulled charts for the next day’s clinic, prepped charts, pulled Echo reports from PACS system and uploaded them into the ECW EHR and then we switched to Athena, I Covered the front desk when needed, I was back up on phones, scheduled patients for office visits and for tests, collected copays, deductibles, co-ins.
