I served as the Internal Medicine inpatient director in a high-volume tertiary care hospital. My responsibilities were broad and involved both clinical and administrative duties. In addition to my work as a physician managing admissions, follow-up care, and discharges, I provided instruction and guidance to a team of healthcare workers, organized morning reports, and coordinated rounds.
