Duties and Responsibilities
Senior Civil Engineer/Resident Engineer
Supervise all activities of project and ensure compliance to all plans and specifications and identify all errors in plans and ensure optimal working of construction personnel. Manage and maintain accurate field notes and maintain flow of technical information and prepare comprehensive assessment reports for all turbines and generators and associate equipment.
Perform regular routine maintenance on all turbo generator systems and assist to organize all projects and evaluate all job specifications.
Oversee working of all engineering personnel and inspect all materials and assist to resolve all construction process and recommend improvement to all construction activities and ensure compliance to specifications and construction schedule and prepare all progress reports. Prepare all project documents and design all purchase orders and project schedules and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies and participate in evaluation of all engineer personnel. Evaluate all improvement operations and ensure availability of all resources and coordinate with customer to prepare all outage schedules and provide recommendation for all repair work and ensure compliance to all timeframe.
Perform regular evaluation on all observance trends and prepare all preventative maintenance on all parts and coordinate with customers for all operation groups. Resolve all customer questions within required timeframe and provide assistance to all customers and monitor all pro active activities and installations of equipment. Page 4 of 5
Project Manager/Construction Manager
Responsible for all aspects of the project including project administration, consulting and reviewing of the project to ensure that the project is completed within budget, time limits, complies with all contractual obligations and quality standards, expediting procedures/drawings generation schedule and overall control of the project/s of the company. Manage, coordinate and administer the jobsite activities. Coordinate with the designers and contractors regarding clarifications in plans, specifications and other pertinent matters to ensure expeditious performance and completion of the project. Coordinated the activities of trade and sub contractors and ensure high standards of safety, good housekeeping and forward planning that high level of construction commensurate with the programmed requirements are met.
Ensures that safety standards required to be met are complied with from planning and pre construction stage to the completion of projects and actual on site construction & to have ultimate safe operation.
Provide continuous assessment, evaluation and review consultant resource levels with regard to their capability to meet key dates on the documentation program. Encourage corrective actions were required to recover delays in the project and ensure key dates are met. Ensure that contractors engaged on the works comply in every respect with the statutory requirements, conditions of contracts and specifications and in particular display high level of quality supervision on site.
Lead the bidding team for the preparation of pertinent bidding documents both the technical and financial documentations making sure abiding the ITB and PBD of the procuring entity. Attend the pre-bid and bidding conference.
Senior Project Engineer
Simultaneously manage and administer the jobsite activities of various projects under my jurisdiction. Ensure proper implementation and completion of all discipline of works on time. Check the quality and general orderliness of the workplaces. Preparation of material and cost estimates, requisition, project schedules and accomplishments. Represent the company in Pre Bid. / Bid Conferences and evaluate discrepancies in the Bid Plans and Specifications.
Initiate and encourage “brainstorming” sessions with the site personnel, discussing among others problems at jobsites, safety and quality controls, cost reductions and ways to improve the progress of the projects.
Conduct negotiations with the subcontractors and develop / initiate change orders to be incorporated into the original contracts.
Prepare and administer integrated work schedules, execution budgets, financial / work force flow of projects. Review and appraise claims and billings from subcontractors and suppliers as to validity under the terms of the contracts.
Conduct and preside coordination meetings with Owners in weekly / monthly basis whichever the case maybe.
