“Your competitors can copy your work but not your passion.” This statement describes how I feel on a regular basis when I think about who I am, and my passion for what I do. My name is Shawntanae Dorsette and I’ve been employed in the financial sector for seven years.
As I have had experience in the business office, I am Microsoft Office literate. I am a very fast learner. Given my background and training in customer service, accounts, people relations and front desk operations, I believe that I can aid in the strengthening of your company. During my tenure I have served as senior teller, balancing teller, remittance teller back up and as a customer service representative.
In this role I have been able to not only grow professionally, but also personally. I’ve learnt that to be an efficient employee one must not only be sympathetic but also empathetic. I’ve used that knowledge to avoid and resolve customer complaints. With the introduction of digital transformation in financial sectors a new initiative was implemented where customer service representatives were allowed to promote and sell products. Even though this process was foreign I’ve managed to hold the title of top customer service representative and top customer service sales in the Bahamas. I mentioned the above as a testament to my abilities and how well I adapt and thrive when presented with new tasks.
In addition to this one can say my passion for my work is displayed by the way I go above and beyond for customers. My stellar customer service has not only been recognized by the customers but also management as I have won several awards ranging from top customer service representative and the managers choice award.
