Employment History:
April 2022 to present: Self employed working light commercial and residential electrical work.
September 2017 to April 2022: Electrical Superintendent for B3 Electric LLC located in Russellville, KY. Supervised electrical commercial and industrial construction in western Kentucky and middle Tennessee area.
September 2016 to September 2017: Lead electrician for Complete Systems, Inc. We were located in southern Illinois. We were contracted to install electrical for Dollar General Stores throughout Missouri and Illinois. 100% Travel
June 2016 to August 2016: Contract work for Bray Electric out of Bowling Green, KY. I was a Lead Electrician for a 240 unit apartment complex in Paducah, KY.
April 2014 to April 2016: Electrical Supervisor with Roger’s Electrical Contracting Inc. I supervised and scheduled work for 2-8 men constructing a coal preparation plant, two water plants and assisting mine electricians with maintenance. Considerable work with VFDs, PLCs, Fiber optics and 4-20ma control.
February 2012 to April 2014: Electrician and then Electrical Supervisor for Freeport-McMoran Copper and Gold in Morenci, AZ. I started as an electrician but was then asked to take a supervisory role within the first year. My responsibilities included scheduling the workload for up to 24 electricians with 24/7 coverage. Considerable experience with SAP software in writing work orders and aligning with different trades on for coordinated events such as Medium Voltage motor change outs. Also utilized Gantt Charts for large “Shutdown” situations. Automation experience and PLC control knowledge was acquired while working with the electricians in the Process Contol Division.
1991 to 2011 Electrical Worker Supervisor located at United States Penitentiary Marion, IL. Trained, supervised and evaluated crews of up to 30 inmates in the installation, construction, repair and maintenance of the institution. Also assisted in planning, cost estimates and completion special projects inside and outside of the institution. Maintained 4160 polyphase double-ended feeder design to numerous underground transformer vaults. Also assisted in maintaining HVAC needs at the institution. Employment required multiple background checks and security clearances.
Master Electrician for Surface Mining: At Equality Mining Company located in southern Illinois. Maintenance of 7500 KVA Substation, 35 yard electric dragline and support equipment. Trunk line switchgear, medium voltage repair, 480 volt submersible pumps and oil circuit breakers.
Master Electrician with AMAX Coal Company in Paulton, IL. Worked with DC motors and generators in an electric stripping machines for uncovering coal. This includes draglines, shovels and vertical drills.
First Class Electrician at Peabody Coal Company in Clinton, IN. I worked under the supervision of a Master Electrician for surface coal mining operation.
