Underwriter – LoanDepot – April 2024 to Present

Tim works remotely underwriting Conventional, FHA & VA Wholesale and Retail loans in an automated environment. He renders credit decisions, clears conditions and issues final approvals within designated timeframes. Currently working on the Empower software. VA Underwriter – Guaranteed Rate – March 2020 to November 2023 Tim worked remotely underwriting VA Retail Mortgages according to stated and written guidelines. Assisted with FHA and Conventional as needed and was assigned to multiple states for their Niche Bond Loans. Tim has utilized DU and LP in addition to working on Encompass for the past 10 years. FHA Manufactured Home Underwriter – American Financial – July 2019 to March 2020 Tim worked exclusively on the FHA Team underwriting Manufactured Home Loans. He is an expert in Manufactured Appraisal Reviews and Title Requirements. He utilized Encompass and submitted loans through DU/LP for approval.

Team Lead/Sr. Underwriter – Suntrust (now Truist) – January 2009 to July 2019 Tim led a team of 10 underwriters from Florida. He met daily via zoom calls to discuss pipeline and loan scenarios. Tim also Underwrote his own pipeline of Conventional, FHA and VA loans as needed. In addition to the many years of experience as an Underwriter, Tim also processed loans for 11 years prior and assisted with Closings as needed. Tim also originated loans for a brief period.
