Completed two professional-level, full-time internships (telecommunications manufacturing, and a nation-wide financial institution) while still an undergraduate.

Worked with two global fast-food chains (Arby’s and Wendy’s) in management training programs.

Joined the hospitality industry in New Orleans, LA as a Personnel & Payroll Manager with various global hotel chains (Wyndham, Westin, Radisson, Marriott/Sheraton, etc.). Promoted and transferred eight times in six consecutive years to larger and more challenging locations across the country, including new builds/pre-openings, acquisitions, and brand mergers.

Taught as a faculty member of the UCLA Extension Program's Certificate in Hotel Management for two school years. While living in Louisiana, attended pre-MBA and general business courses at Tulane University, then continued at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Transferred to Los Angeles area in the 1990's, David branched out into the Entertainment arena working as a specialist in the areas of Recruiting/Employer Branding/Talent Acquisition; Training & Organizational Development; Internal & External Communications; Cultural Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.

Worked within major movie studios, television networks, and post-production houses over the next decade.

Most recently joined BBSI (Barrett Business Services Inc.) as a lead Human Resources Consultant, serving the Coachella Valley out of their La Quinta branch.
