Interfaces with citizens in person regarding minor complaints or questions. Inspects equipment for safety hazards before use. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. Working Conditions:

Frequent exposure of up to 80% of work time to dirt, dust, extremes of temperatures, noise, and noxious fumes and odors. Exposure to hazards associated with equipment, machinery, rough terrain at construction sites, and moving vehicles on roadways. On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.
