Interstate Batteries, Benicia, CA - Dispatcher (Aug. 2023 - Present)
I am currently working as a dispatcher at this Battery Distributor. So far I have gained experience in this office taking calls and gathering information for what batteries the customer needs to order, taking notes on the order, and inputting it into our system so a third party or one of our drivers is sent out to deliver. I make orders in advance and same day. I also communicate with our warehouse workers to check for availability if it isn’t in our computer system or our handbook. I am also comfortable making outbound calls to get in touch with the different companies we distribute to about promotions and opportunities. At the end of the day I organize all the tickets (fulfilled order receipts that are signed when the orders are picked up) in numerical order, print out the register reports (totals of our sales for that day), count and gather everything that’s in the register to make sure our totals are correct, and my day is done. I’m currently looking for a remote position because I do not have a car and the transportation is $300 a week, which is $600 coming out of my biweekly pay. It’s just too expensive and I haven’t found the right car yet. But in order for me to save I need to make profit with my pay.
Lucky California, Pinole, CA - Cashier (Jan. 2023-May 2023)
Swissport Cargo, San Francisco, CA - (May 2022 -Sep 2022)
At Swissport I worked at the Cargo Warehouse where the packages are measured, weighed and screened. I measured the boxes for dimensions and weighed them. My coworker would then screen them then move them to the correct area. I also made the labels for any quickpak packages that came in.
Target, Pinole CA - Stock and Sales (Mar. 2020)
My responsibilities included stocking the sales floor, taking care of go backs, backstocking and helping any customers with finding items either at our store or at a different location. I also fulfilled online orders and dropped them off to customer’s vehicles within two minutes.
Safeway, Hercules CA - Sales Associate (Apr. 2021 - Jan. 2022)
Working at Safeway was basically the same job description as Lucky’s so I had all the same responsibilities as I did there, but I did a little more work with customer service and helping with returns and price adjustments.
Lucky California, Pinole CA - Sales Associate (Mar. 2020 -Apr. 2021)
At Lucky’s I was a cashier. My responsibilities included checking and making sure prices were correct, everything packed accordingly with appropriate food items, cleaning our space often, working as a team to help other cashiers learn their codes for produce and other things like returns and price adjustments. As a result of learning the codes I’ve also become more efficient with typing.
Nordstrom Rack, Pleasant Hill CA - Sales Associate (2016-2019)
I started out in August 2016 as a rover, so I was working in every department, learning everything from the products to how to keep the floor clean and make the customer feel welcomed and informed about our store. Nordstrom Rack has given me a lot of skills and has taught me how to work efficiently even under pressure and how to please our customers and how to work as a team. I am happy to help anyone with questions about something I’m knowledgeable about, so whether it’s a new employee or a customer who needs help or more information I will be there to tell all I know

I participated in the after-school program at this school as a volunteer which started as a school assignment, but after the assignments time minimum was complete I continued to go. I had a great time helping the kids with their homework and assisting the workers with preparing cooking and craft stations.
