POWER OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE (ELECTRICIAN)

DUTIES: OPERATIONS

● Strict monitoring of PMS (Power management system).

● Ensure that proper safety tag out procedures are followed

● Operating of various generating assets and their auxilaries e.g Simens Turbine ( SGT400), Wartsila Dual fuel generators (9L34DF), Jenbancher Gas generators, Jenbancher Diesel Generators, Caterpillar (CAT3516,CAT3616 ) Air compressors ( Instrument air and starting air), Enerproject Gas compressors, Mayekawa Gas compressors etc.

● Efficiently manage the power generated and distribute to load centres ( Mills, Head house, Golden sugar company etc.)

● Keep all equipment in optimum operating conditions.

● To ensure production downtime reduction to the least.

● To restore power in event of station loss within 15 mins.

● Effective communication to all operational plants (Turbine plants, Wartsila plants, Jenbancher Gas, Diesel plants and various load centres) DUTIES: MAINTENANCE

● Perform preventive maintenance (ignition test, insulation resistance test, Battery check, Tightening check of components) on each engine.

● Inspect and monitor plant operating components and report plant status to the supervisor.

● Change of faulty instruments like Temperature controllers, flow meters, pressure transmitters.
