My name is Jacob Hjerpe and I have worked in factories most of my adult work experience. My first job was a forklif op in a granite counter top yard in El Monte California. I worked there for about 5 years until they closed the store. Shortly after that I worked for a tree cutting service in Collum, Illinois for a little over a year only reason for leaving was I had to move once again. Whe I moved to clinton I started working a place called Collis for about 6 months till I found a better paying job as a delivery driver for Casey's wich I was there for about 3 year. I found another factory job working for Purina and was there for about a year or so when I left due to poor management and how they treated us as workers. Shortly after that I worked for custom pay for about 8 months and got layed off do to an injury I got on my weekend off. I'm currently employed with Nordstom DC 299 in Dubuque Iowa and I've been there for about 3 or 4 months now I'm looking for a new job because driving a hour and twenty minute each way for work is hard to do after working a 12 hour shift. I'm hard worker I learn fast I'm on time all the time and need a good company to work for who treats there workers good and isn't going to lay off and rehire all the time.
