Ensure proper isolation of process equipment for maintenance and carry out house – keeping
Interpret process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and other technical drawings
Operate process equipment (Pumps, valves, blowers, compressors, turbines etc.)
Monitor process equipment performance and report anomalies.
Fill lubricating oil in inboard and outboard bearings of rotating equipment.
Write daily report in log – books on tasks carried out in operations as well as maintenance in various units of the plant
