Investigate a variety of unsolved Homicides in the County of Solano in order to obtain arrest warrants/ Grand Jury Indictments and Prosecution.

I am an “on call” Police Investigator. I am assigned all varieties of Investigations within the City of Rio Vista as assigned by the Commander. I am a sworn Police Officer and I author arrest warrants, search warrants, criminal complaints. I make arrest, testify in court and prepare Police reports.

Solano County Sheriff Department/Solano District Attorney Office (SCSD) Fairfield, CA 2005 to 2015

•Solano County/Sheriff/DA Investigator with County Auto Theft Task Force

•Managed all phases of Auto Theft Investigations within the County of Solano

•Task force consisted of California Highway Patrol, Solano District Attorney, Solano Sheriff

•Coordinated investigations of “organized” theft rings, chop shops, insurance fraud.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Establish a residential protection unit for high end client in Palo Alto California.

Involved in numerous Homicide case Investigations.

Managed Sheriff response to multiple “organized” auto theft rings in City of Vallejo

Assisted California Highway Patrol with Carquinez Bridge “toll booth” robberies.

Assisted allied agencies with Vehicle Enforcement Saturation deployments.

Worked alongside Foreign Export Auto recovery unit to locate exported stolen vehicles.

Assisted other Sheriff Investigators with 2009 double homicide in unincorporated Vallejo.

VACAVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT Vacaville, CA 1980 to 2004

•Police Officer/Field Training Officer/SWAT member-team leader

•Defensive Tactics instructor and PR-24 instructor for over 16 years.

•Investigations for over 14 years including Street Team-Gangs Investigator.

•Testified in Solano County criminal courts as “gang expert” “auto theft expert”

•Lead investigator in double homicide in City of Vacaville, worked numerous homicides.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

Distinguished lifesaving service medal for SWAT officer involved shooting of armed drug Suspect in 1989.

Officer of the year in 1993./ Officer of the Quarter 2003

Service awards for several complex investigations, including homicides.

Have placed and medaled in United States Police games and World Police and Fire Games from early 1980’s through 2017. Intend on competing in the games in 2021 in China in cycling and rowing. Medaled several times in the games in the TCA (toughest competitor alive).

•Worked for the Sacramento County District Attorney office as an assigned Investigator during the fiscal year of 1998 and took a hiatus from Vacaville Police Department.

•Worked in both the Child abuse/adult sexual crime unit and the Gang Unit.

United States Army: 1975 to 1978. Army Field Medic primarily assigned to the 75th Ranger Training Battalion at Fort Benning, Georgia. Included rotations at Camp Darby and Mountain Phase in Dahlonega, Georgia. Assigned Jump School medic on all three phases.
