While working full time at Anchor I was also enrolled full time majoring in accounting at EGCC. I managed a 4.0 and was awarded with being put on the president's list. For 2 semesters back to back I remained on the list. Working full time along with a full time college schedule, being a full time mom and wife, plus playing co-ed softball...I still don't know how I managed. Very driven I guess you could say. I never knew there was an award passed the deans list. Unfortunately accounting, tho I was acceptably good at it, was nothing that I expected it to be. My heart was never in it tho I tried to push through...I withdrew from EGCC without a degree.
