oDrive trucks to deliver such items as food, medical supplies, or newspapers.
oObey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
oListen to and resolve customers' complaints regarding products or services.
oReport any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles.
oVerify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
oLoad and unload trucks, vans, or automobiles.
oArrange merchandise promotion displays or provide sales promotion materials to customers.
oWrite customer orders and sales contracts according to company guidelines.
oCall on prospective customers to explain company services or to solicit new business.
oMaintain records, vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements.
oMove levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
oLoad or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, or other vehicles.
oPosition lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material.
oOperate or tend automatic stacking, loading, packaging, or cutting machines.
oHook tow trucks to trailer hitches and fasten anyattachments to tractors, using hitchpins.
