Dispatched maintenance technicians for work on the property and created work orders in the database. Helped create purchase orders through requisitions, telephone requests and from other departments. Supported senior staff, Associate Warden for six months, then the Deputy Director for two years, then the Mental Health Director for the remainder of my employment. I answered phones from the public and directed calls, when necessary, I answered inmate grievances by investigating and discussing with the appropriate staff as to the cause of the grievance, composed correspondence when asked to. I arranged travel in and out of state and submitted receipts for reimbursement. I used proprietary software specifically designed for the Department of Corrections, Microsoft Office and Excel for composing data for requested statistics. I ordered supplies for office use as well as mental health testing supplies. I also audited employee time sheets for the payroll department and researched errors and submitted corrections when necessary.

Cashiered, including the release of prescriptions to patients using the Conexus computer system, processed prescriptions by entering them into the computer, zoned the pharmacy and the OTC area, receiving and stocking prescription medications, called patients, performed some housekeeping duties.

I worked for four years under the supervision of a software/hardware development director. Some of my duties included appointment scheduling, setting up conference calls and conference rooms, planned and booked travel, handled sensitive and confidential information. Attended staff meetings, prepared monthly status reports, quarterly Ops Reviews, and tracked educational hours for all employees. Handled various projects as assigned, distributed confidential Intel documents, coordinated space planning, office assignment redirection for entire 2nd floor.

Prior to merger of Hewlett Packard and Compaq Computer companies, I was a contract administrator, budget analyst and project manager. That position was eliminated after the merger. More of my duties included collecting OSHA and insurance data. I also prepared purchase requisitions and purchase orders and received, tracked and coded invoices. More of my duties included managing small construction projects and service contracts including landscaping, housekeeping, general services and pest control contracts. I also helped forecast the budget for the western region real estate department including invoice accruals, reclassing misdirected general ledger account numbers, etc. When I started with the company, I was in the accounts receivable department preparing lock box check packages. I used the interface table in Oracle to send edited files to the database. I researched unrecognized cash and checks working with the company collectors and file personnel. I balanced the A/R subledger and sent journals to the general ledger.
