Grade Control
•Grade control through channel sampling, chip, grab and core sampling and XRF/ Bruker utilization.
•QAQC: core logging, sampling and core yard management.
•Assay analysis, reef marking, mining limits demarcation and reef interpretation.
•Planning, coordinating and monitoring diamond drilling.
•Surface and underground structural mapping.
•Advising mining on geological issues (mining across faults etc.).
•Coordinating sampling.
•Supervision and training of samplers and Geology assistants.
•Equipment assignment and scheduling.
Rock Mechanics
•Q-Rating and RMR for ground classification and recommendations.
•Analyze mines' ground stability
•Monitoring and reporting of rock related hazards.
•Interpret Geotechnical, structural and geological plans through geological and structural mapping so as to provide advice on Rock support design and procedures for special areas
•Routine Monitoring and Special investigations on FOG.
•Visit working places regularly to observe rock conditions and changes.
•Pre and post blast analysis for continuous improvement (quality control).
•Monitor support performance and issue out recommendations.
•Inspect pillar performance and submit reports.
•Examine access ways when required and issue out recommendations.
•Underground structural mapping.
•Geotechnical logging of underground core and rock mass classification.
•Cost management.
