Yard operation - Planning and stacking of containers. Wharf operation - Receiving the bay plan from supervisor and assist in loading and discharging of the cargo from the vessels. ICD ( Inland Container Depot ) - Assisted the supervisor in loading and discharging the cargo from the trains to the trucks and vise versa. Gates (IN and OUT) - Assisted the team in scanning of containers coming into the port and check whether the containers are meeting the port standards.
Customer service - Assisted the team on how to solve the problems of truck drivers and owners of containers
Tower- Assisted the team as how to look over all the port operations are going on.
Safety at Work - Familiarisation with the safety standards to be followed for operations at the port. Practicing of dawning proper PPE
(Personal Protective Equipment) at all times when in port grounds. Attend safely meetings before carrying out any operation. Time period :
