If it's not broken do not fix it. We take extra precautions to make sure, starting from the condensers. Testing the speed of the fan motor and the compressor level. Anything can be wrong, you never know how severe it could be so, it's vital, that the wiring on the circuit boards inside and out are matched with the color wires provided along with a guide book to assist as needed. Its easy knowing what you did to a previous system, but when working on someone else's programming, it makes the job more challenging, you have to think like a technician. There are only five components in a/c and 3 in a heating system, so it's never impossible. With preventive Maintenance to the inside and outside coil, proper/efficient duct work, perfect leveling of coil and furnace, perfect color wiring etc, I can go on and on. It's truly an art that I'm proud to know about.
