Managing over 25+ applications for Clearing & Settlement process.

External vendor relationship with FIS for managing Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) functions outsourced under SaaS contract of $15 million per year.

Oversee Technical delivery & lifecycle management of all the applications with the team size of over 35+ from UBS/CS and FIS located in India, Singapore and the USA.

Successfully slashed down the operating cost by $1.25 million/year by downsizing and eliminating technical debts.

AVP Credit Suisse Nov 2012 – Dec 2023

During this period worked on multiple projects with multiple roles for Credit Suisse and demonstrated experience with various software development life cycles (SDLC).

Successfully delivered a “Cloud-based” prototype by extending the capabilities of legacy mainframe-based application as part of the Mainframe Modernization initiative.

Performance Tuning Projects: Worked on Mainframe Batch Jobs, COBOL Programs and DB2 as part of Performance Improvement in the Nightly Production Batch Cycle. The multi-year project resulted in shortening the batch cycle timing by 2 hours with savings of over $2.25 million per year.

“T+2” Settlement Cycle: Was part of the core team working on the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted rule amendments to shorten the standard settlement cycle for most broker-dealer transactions from “T+3” to “T+2”.

IHC CCAR Projects: Successfully delivered all the key regulatory requirements under Credit Suisse' Intermediate Holding Company (IHC) as mandated by Federal Reserve Board (FRB) for all foreign banking organization in USA. CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review)) is used by U.S. regulators to oversee covered companies’ capital adequacy, capital distribution and capital planning processes under various base and stress economic scenarios.

This was multi-year project with team size of over 30 direct reports.

SNE project required changes to the mainframe applications to handle the expansion of Security Numbers and Product Numbers from six digits to nine digits for the Investment Banking’s core Trade Processing applications.

This was a multi-year project spanning 3 years with team size over 100 and over 6000 programs were modified, tested and implemented in the production successfully.

Code Conversion Projects: Implemented COBOL conversions projects from COBOL 2.4 to VS COBOL II to Enterprise COBOL and also Natural/ADABAS conversion project to COBOL Programs and DB2 tables.

Successfully ramped up the L1, L2 & L3 Teams across Singapore, India and Raleigh office to support Credit Suisse Post Trade Processing applications.

Developed & streamlined several key business & functional process’ to eliminate unforeseen errors from manual intervention to the applications by the support and business teams.
