At Barn wood farms we do construction projects and resale of recycled building materials. We had a

demolition of a Barn and home last year. I personally gathered cleaned and sold around 3 thousand

cream city bricks. It was quite a lucrative project though it was taxing, It was big accomplishment.

Lead evening Cook at Healthcare Services Group

I was lead evening cook at a nursing home. I had to make food for about 70 people every night, and prep

food for the next day. I noticed, when I started, a lot of residence didn t finish their meals. Now I know

personally how important it is to get the proper amount of calories, and nutrients. So I took it upon myself

to go meet with all the residents I could to ask what their likes and dislikes, as well as any new resident.

I then went to our resident dietitian to go through all of their food tickets and list their dislikes, so we

could substitute on their food trays. More and more trays started coming back empty and some CNAs

even reported weight gain I. Some of our more crucial residents. Many of the residents were grateful

and came to personally thank me.
