Professional Experience

Snr. Civil Engineer

Abdulla Al-khrinej general trading company (Oil & Gas) – Kuwait.

Project: KOC-Installation and maintenance of external cabling Infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Civil engineering designs Prepare for Cable network, microtunnelings, HDD and land grading specifications.

Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.

Supervising team and Sub contracted.

Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager

Civil Engineer

Alghanim International (Oil & Gas) – Kuwait from November 2018 to June 2020.

Project brief: The Kuwait oil company K.S.C (KOC) to build the feed pipelines for the new refinery project (NRP) in Kuwait. The project covers the construction of feed pipelines transmission lines including pumps and other related facilities. The project calls for the construction of a pipeline feeding a comprehensive new refinery with a total length of 450 kilometers (km) approximately. The pipeline is a part of Al-Zour Refinery located at Al-Zour, Kuwait.

Responsibilities:

Civil engineering designs for Pipe lines, microtunnelings, HDD and land grading specifications for maps and topographical surveys.

Managing parts of construction projects

Coordinating survey & site setting out

Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.

Supervising Sub contracted.

Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales

Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager

Providing technical advice and solving problems on site

Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork

Senior Site Engineer (Infrastructure)

La’ala Al Kuwait (KMGC) – Kuwait from May 2010 to October 2016

Saba Al-Ahmad Sea City is regarded as a pioneering project in the region as one of the projects of the future. It delivers an integrated residential city with all facilities and services, It is built on unused land in A-Khairan area which is being constructed throgh excavation, ground improvement works and installation of all the nesessary infrastructure all services.

Coordination with consultants, site engineers, subcontractors, supervisors, surveyors, and the general workforce in the team to execute tasks well within the time frame without compromising the quality.

Acting as a technical adviser on the site for subcontractors, supervisors and operatives

Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors

Responsible for verifying that all necessary permits and licenses are in-place prior to the start of construction

Preparation of weekly progress reports and analyzes progress with construction manager and subcontractors.

Provide explanations, take necessary steps to close any NCR or WIP raised by the Consultants

Working in co-ordination with other infrastructure disciplines to achieve common tasks

Preparation of detailed program of works to meet deadlines

Reviewing weekly site productivity and QA documentation for compliance with requirements

Developing and refining cost models of the work processes to cut down costs

To prepare the documents and drawing for getting the approval from the client and MOC.

To pre-plan and apply the permission for asphalt cutting route’s.

To design and planning for turkey route building and shelter from the nearest H/H or M/H.
