Work Experience

Underground Coal Miner/ Scoop Car Operator and Roof Bolter United Coal/ Metinvest / Affinity Coal - Midway, WV February 2023 to Present

I'm the scoop operator for section one left and middle side. On a daily basis I bring up the supplies needed for both middle and left roof bolter and load them then I clean the different entries and breaks after the miner and roof bolter come out I push the left over coal to the face and rock dust the entry to prepare it for the miner to come back to continue mining. I also have experience on a DDR roof bolter and roof ranger roof bolter and regularly fill in for any bolters that can't get to work on my section and in the other sections.

I would also a lot of the time drive to different states and pick up our bulk custom guard rail and transport it back to the Bradley supply yard and inventory it all then unload it and separate the material onto it's designated area.

As a rebar detailer I would get my orders that had to go out to other companies every morning and I would go through them and would shear the rebar to the length the company ordered and would put the rebar on a machine that would bend it to the exact angel they wanted and I would then use a over head crane to put them all on a pallet and tag the pallet and then use the crane again to load them onto the trucks for delivery.
