● Monitor and analyze database performance and make changes to optimize performance

● Assist in database performance tuning

● Responsible for working with the development/support teams to optimize SQL statements

● Follow release management, change management and quality assurance standards

● Perform database space management and monitoring

● Assist with migration and/or load of application data into the database environment
