Project Close: usually involves scheduling a post-mortem, delivering a Project Punch List, and final reports.

Dell/EMC, Remote, 01/2019 – 02/2024: Senior Project Manager.

oManaged over 50 infrastructure projects implementing Dell solutions, e.g., Cyber Recovery, VxRail, VMware, RecoverPoint, PowerStore, PowerScale, PowerMax, PowerFlex, and VMAX, for various Dell clients, e.g., Norton LifeLock, Sonoma County, Baylor Hospital, UofA Medical, ICU Medical, TX Biomedical, Neiman Marcus, USA Health, GECU, Waste Management, Samsung, CDW Logistics, & FedEx.

oManaged data migration of 200+ physical servers & 3,000+ VMs for Dell/EMC partner DXC Technology.

Judicial Council of California, Remote, 11/2022 – 11/2023: Senior Project Manager.

oManage the Hybrid Courtroom Workstream Project to plan and implement a remote audio/video system that facilitates the attendance of court proceedings by various court participants on a remote basis for 449 courthouses and 2,157 courtrooms across the State of California.

oCreated and maintained project plan in ServiceNow and reported status to management, the CIO, and the deputy CIO on a weekly basis. Also presented status at various team meetings on a weekly basis.

oConducted meetings with judges, various Court personnel, and county executives from across the State of California to collect the information necessary to create business, functional, operational, and technical requirements for the solution to be implemented.

oCreated a detailed Findings & Recommendations (F&R) Report as part of the creation of a Request for Proposal (RFP) to eventually hire a firm to implement the solution as detailed in the F&R Report.

oCreated a draft RFP for review and approval by the CIO.

oAssisted in the management of the AB716 project which addressed the mandate of rolling out a new audio system to be implemented statewide.

oManaged the retirement of SecureIT Legacy and the implementation of its replacement the “Privileged Access Management System” (“New SecureIT”), for The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) to standardize the administration and control of privileged access to devices and servers.

oMinimized TWDC’s attack surface or exposure to security threats through two-factor verification.

oEnsuring the company’s and TWDC customer’s data is better protected by driving two-factor adoption.

City of Santa Monica / SMPD, Santa Monica, CA, 12/2018 – 02/2019: Senior Project Manager

oManaged the implementation of multiple projects concurrently for the City and the PD including the Body Worn Video project, a city-wide CCTV camera replacement project, and upgrades of the 911 system, the Parking Citation Issuance System, and Video Storage System.

This involved the replacement of 50 workstations, implementing an IDM solution, network infrastructure (domain integration, VPN IPsec, and SSO accounts), redundant end-to-end circuit for VPN access over the Internet to Fandango’s network, and authenticating and migrating email to Fandango servers.

Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles, CA, 11/2015 – 9/2017: Records Management System (RMS)/Body Worn Video (BWV)/Connected Officer Solution (COS) Project Manager and Consultant.

oManaged Request for Proposal (RFP), Procurement, POC, and Deployment phases of the Niche RMS COTS project including vendor evaluation and selection. Diligent research, POC, and presentation of findings led to cost savings of $7M over the nearest competitor.

oManaged the implementation of the SAAS Evergreen protocol for ongoing support and app upgrades.
