Delivery Driver

To whom it may concern: My name is: Jorge Gutierrez. I am an experience driver with over 18 year's of driving experience. Driving 26 foot manual,or automatic transmission truck's.

Experience: Over 18 year's of driving experience,since 2005 Driving 26 foot box trucks. I drove for several moving companies when I first started driving these types of vehicle's, because at the winter time these types of job's tend to slow down much,I was actively looking for other companies that would have work at the time. I worked for Schleppers Moving and storage, Noah's ark, Simply Moving and several other moving companies through out 2005 to 2018. I have been to several States through out the United States East coast,and mid United States while working with these companies. I have been to Florida,Illinois, Massachusetts, Ohio,and Indiana amongst many other States.

License: I possess a Class E. license with an active Medical Certificate valid until the month of November 2025.

Security: Maintain a line of communication open between myself and the dispatcher in case something might come up,and I will need to reroute. Transport the merchandise,or load in a safe and secure manner.Obey traffic signals,and drive carefully. I Will make sure that I would have a functioning Fire extinguisher,as well as reflector triangle's. I would check for any leaks,and make sure that all my light's are in working order,Head lights, hazard's,signal light's, clearance light's, break light's, and rear light's all must be operating perfectly. I would also check motor oil,as well as transmission oil, in case it may need to be filled up to is normal level. Check Air brake's, strap's,and a working and operable lift gate, pallet jack, and/or hand truck if needed.

Personal Information: I am a bilingual person whom gets along with his co workers,I speak and write both: Spanish and English. I'm 5 foot 5 inches tall. with an athletic figure whom can lift over 50lbs. or more if need to.

Working Experience: Over 25 year's of working with several companies,when I started driving 26 foot box trucks in 2005. with several moving companies. In 2018 I started working with Leaven Bread bakery driving a small truck doing deliveries to New York,New Jersey and Connecticut until the pandemic had shut down the company. After that since 2019 to 2022 I worked for B line's whom had his own truck for which I lasted with him until 2022. At the present I am doing part time work for Food Bank located at 355 Food Center Drive in Hunt's Point Bronx New York. I am looking for a permanent Job,since at Food Bank some times, they don't have a route available for the part time worker's.
