Sarcasm Detection in Telugu

Sentiment analysis is the way of finding ones opinion towards any specific target. Sarcasm is a special type of sentiment which infers the opposite meaning of what people convey in the text often expressed using positive words or intensified positive words. Sarcastic messages on social media became new trend to avoid direct negativity . In presence of sarcasm, semantic analysis became most challenging task.

We used three classification algorithms in our model of sarcasm detection in Telugu language. The classification algorithms are Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naive Bayes NB, Logistic Regression LR. We have trained and tested our system with these three classification algorithms .
