My name is Paul Corbin, and I am applying for the opportunity to compete for the open role of Full Time, Facilities Technician, within the City of Upland, in the Public Works Department I. (Job# 2257) I currently hold an Associate Degree in Electronics and Electricity, from ITT Technical Institute, in West Covina, CA., and I occupied Field Service Roles within the Graphic Arts Industry. Computers and digital networks were needed in Printing, so I attended Cal State Los Angeles to become a Unix Administrator, and attended Citrus College for Visual Basic and GUI Design with 2 Vocational Diplomas.
I had an Opportunity for becoming a Field Service Technician in the Healthcare Sector, within the High-Level Disinfection, and Sterile Processing Department, which focused on Durable, Reusable Surgical Tools, and all Flexible Endoscopy systems, including Imaging, Ultrasound, Reporting, and related systems, medications and chemistries.
During my Field Service Roles, I worked on Troubleshooting, Replacing, and Testing Electrical Motors and Pumps, Testing, Replacing and Electrical Brakers, Indoor and Outdoor Lighting, Industrial Halogen, Quartz, Fluorescent, InfraRed, and UV curing systems. Mechanical Assemblies, Conveyor Systems, Gasoline Engines and Generators.
