Assisted in the commission process for RVL. The main focus was the Planer department. Went through multiple levels of training and was responsible for training new team members when they were hired on to Roseburg RVL.

Responsible for ensuring that the dimensional lumber is up to standard requirements. Ensured that each week of the embryonic stages of the Sawmill, that 2 million board feet (feet measured in volume) were properly cut, and standard requirements were met. Responsible for making sure all maintenance is done to the planer machine.

Responsible for making sure each location in the department can carry out the requirements that are placed on the department, assisting the Area Coordinator when they are unable to be present. Required to have extensive knowledge of wood products, as well as the business side; understanding the effect of DPIs and how they affect KPIs. Extensive knowledge on understanding the effect of Downtime and how much it costs the company, ensured that the company is up and running and simultaneously, safely executing the job; apart of training and a part of the hiring team; extensive knowledge of LOTO procedures and OSHA requirements. Responsible for effectively creating Standard of Procedure documentation for Planer department, as well as ensuring that team members in other departments can properly create the company’s standard documentation. Although the Planer was the main focus, yet also worked the tilt hoist infeed and throughout the department, all the way to the outfeed area.

Responsible for completing approximately 6,000 10 inches to 10 to 15, 000 8-inch cheesecakes; also, safely employing multiple forms of machinery to assist in the decoration process of cheesecakes. Also, responsible for safely employing strict forms of sanitation according to food safety standards and the safety of the employees.

Responsible for the maintenance, repairing, and upkeep of homes. Daily, responsible for painting, cutting material, plumbing, building, and repairing decks and other forms of renovation, all while abiding by OSHA 10 standards.

BOILER OPERATOR 2020 - 11/20/2022

FCC PETERSBURG POWER PLANT PETERSBURG, VA

Responsible for correctly recording all pressures and temperatures of all boilers, water pumps as well as sewage pumps, and compressors that are in operation. Responsible for assisting with boiler maintenance, the upkeep of two coolant distributors, and generators that are large enough to supply power to entire housing complex. Responsible for knowledge of all the plants chemicals, proper storage of chemicals, including testing various water supplies; and safely ensuring that the plant is within OSHA standards.
