The established average rate of speed for human beings when walking is 1.4 m/s. Any person who's gate exceeds this average is considered a fast walker. Recent studies have shown that fast walkers or typically "go-getters", they tend to have an IQ rate that is on average 16 points higher than slow walkers, and also seem to have more emotional stability throughout their lifespan.
