Run numerous pieces of heavy equipment. Help run the rock crushers to make product to stock pile or sell. Help fix the machinery whenever one of the many pieces breaks. Clean tail pullies, grease the machinery, run the water truck to wet the roads down so, the dust is kept to a minimum. Certified forklift & clamp truck operator. Pull material from the warehouse to fill orders. Take material from the production line, shrink wrap it & label it. Put the finished material in the warehouse or on a semi trailer to be shipped. Worked in production operating the cupola for a short time. Responsible for doing the weekly clean-up. That involves blowing & cleaning out forklift & clamp trucks. Operate high pressure sprayers to clean machinery. Clean dry filters. We usually go in on the weekends to clean the machinery so, it's ready to be started up at the beginning of the week. Certified skid steer operator. You have to be certified to operate high pressure washer, H-Vac system, skid steer or any of the other heavy machinery. Lock out certified & trained. Worked in the knockout dept. Put the parts into a machine that rattled the core sand out of the parts. These parts could weigh 25-85lbs & some of the parts weighed more than 100lbs & were 400 degrees or more. It was also very hot in our dept. Worked in the finishing dept when, we got slow due to the orders not coming in. You had to be able to do various jobs in that involved running air grinders, chisels, belt sanders, punch presses & automatic saws. Worked for this company for a little over 10yrs. Worked at every position at this company. Could run any piece of machinery at the company. Could make the coating that we colored the paper with. Ran the coating machine. I was responsable for making sure the color/shade was correct. Could also run the rewiders. The rewiders slit/cut the paper to size & ran the paper to the dimensions the customers would order. You were also responsible for the setup of the machinery to run these orders on a daily basis. Worked in shipping & receiving. Forklift & clamp truck operator. In my 10yrs of service. I worked at every position on the production floor. The only place I didn't work was in the office, taking orders, billing trucks, ect. I left the company due to not making enough money. I had all that experience & they seem to not appreciate it.
